AbstractThe Pick Me Girl phenomenon that has emerged on TikTok represents a manifestation of internalized misogyny, where women, consciously or unconsciously, undermine other women to gain validation from men. This study aims to analyze how this trend reveals aspects of internalized misogyny and how Generation Z perceives and experiences this phenomenon in real life. Using a qualitative approach with TikTok video analysis and focus group discussions, this research finds that the Pick Me Girl trend reinforces gender stereotypes, weakens female solidarity, and fosters unhealthy competition. The findings of this study are expected to raise awareness about the impact of internalized misogyny and promote more inclusive social change.Referensi
