Abstract

This journal discusses the influence of municipal government policies on the community in Medan Johor (case study of the median of the Medan Johor tourist work road). This research aims to determine the Medan city government's policy regarding the installation of road medians and the pros and cons of the Medan Johor community regarding road media. This research uses a qualitative type of research and uses a political economy approach and in this research data collection techniques are obtained by interviews and documentation with sources. The results of this research show that the installation of a road median makes traffic on the Medan Johor tourism road run smoothly. Now the traffic, although the volume is busy, is flowing smoothly. According to Agus, one of the residents who lives on the Karya Wisata road, the median of the road on the Karya Wisata Karya Wisata road is indeed not a pooler policy. However, as the leader of Medan's mayor, he has the courage to make decisions for the benefit of the general public.
