Abstract

Village Fund Monitoring (ADD) in Sibinail Village requires active community participation in the planning, implementation and evaluation process. Public knowledge about ADD is largely determined by the information they receive through counseling and print media. Community participation in Village deliberations also has an impact on their involvement in monitoring the use of Village funds. This research applies qualitative methods accompanied by library research which is used as the main source of research data. However, research shows that community participation in monitoring ADD is still less than optimal in Sibinail Village, due to limited access to information and low levels of understanding and concern among residents regarding ADD. Therefore, educational efforts are needed to increase public understanding and awareness of the implementation of ADD in their area.
