Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how the General Election Commission's strategy in minimizing apathy among female voters in the 2024 election and the factors causing apathy among female voters. The method used is qualitative with a political social approach and data collection techniques are used through interviews, observation and documentation. The results revealed that the strategy carried out by the General Elections Commission in reducing political apathy among female voters in the 2024 election can be seen from the special treatment (affirmative action) and socialization to female voters.the causative factors for the emergence of apathy in female voters are the lack of equitable distribution of women's political education and inequality in the Socio-cultural Structure. From the results of the study, researchers found that the strategy carried out by the KPU was less effective, so there was no reduction in apathy and increased participation of women voters in the 2024 election.
