Sinergitas Komisi Pemilihan Umum (KPU) dan Badan Pengawas Pemilu (BAWASLU) Kota Medan dalam Menyukseskan Tahun Politik 2024

Abstrak

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui mengenai sinergisitas diciptakan KPU dan BAWASLU di kota medan dalam mensukseskan tahun politik 2024, hingga proses dan ketentuan yang harus digunakan oleh KPU dan BAWASLU dalam menciptakan sinergisitas. Metode dalam penelitian ini pendekatan partisipatoris dengan metode kualitatif dan pendekatan studi kasus. Adapun subjek penelitian dalam tulisan ini adalah Komisioner KPU Medan. Jenis data dalam penelitian ini berupa data primer yang diperoleh dari hasil observasi dan wawancara, sedangkan data skunder di peroleh dari hasil dokumen. Analisis yang digunakan adalah teknik triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan terdapat hubungan kerja yang secara formal dan legal harus dilakukan dan saling kordinasi yang kuat antara KPU kota Medan dan Bawaslu kota Medan yang telah di atur dalam perundang-perundangan dan ketentuan yang mengatur kedua badan ini. Secara khusus terdapat 5 tugas dari KPU kota Medan yang memerlukan hubungan dan legal formal yang jelas dan saling terkait. Hubungan kerja ini sebagaimana diatur UU merupakan mandatory atau keharusan yang wajib dilaksanakan oleh kedua penyelenggara pemilu. Setiap langkah dan prosedur kerja terkait hal yang diatur oleh UU akan memberikan konsekuensi hukum bagi lembaga. Untuk itu atas hubungan kerja yang memang membutuhkan formalitas apakah surat, laporan dan tindak lanjut harus dijalankan sesuai dengan ketentuan yang telah ditetapkan.
