Abstract

Di antara berbgai jenis hukuman yang diperkenalkan oleh hukum Islam baik dalam bentuk qishash,hudud dan ta'zir, denda meru[pakan hukuman yang sangat jarang dibahas dan dipopulerkan sebagi jenis hukuman yang dibenarkan oleh Islam. Kebanyakan peminat hukum Islam lebih sering menyebut qishash dan hudud sebagai trademark hukum Islam, padahal denda juga layak diterapkan sebagai jenis hukuman yang lebih moderat dan manusiawi.
