Abstract

Dalam perjalanan penafsiran Alquran, ulama tafsir mengerahkan tenaga pikirannya agar Alquran dapat dipahami oleh segala lapiran masyarakat. Salah satu metode pendekatan yang sangat signifikan dalam memahami Alquran adalah pendekatan linguistik atau yang lebih dikenal dengan istilah tafsir lugawi.Tafsir lugawi diperlukan dalam memahami Alquran selain karena Alquran menggunakan bahasa arab yang penuh dengan sastra, balaghah, fashahah, bayan, tamsil dan retorika, Alquran juga diturunkan pada masa kejayaan syair dan linguistik. Bahkan pada awal Islam, sebagian orang masuk Islam hanya karena kekaguman linguistik dan kefasihan Alquran. Dalam artikel ini penulis membahas tentang bagaimana wawasan penafsiran Alquran dengan pendekatan corak Lugawi.
