Abstract

This research is focused on obtaining data on Mahbub Djunaidi's Political Thought. The purpose of this research is in accordance with the formulation of the problem to analyze the political thought of Mahbub Djunaidi and the criticism of Mahbub Djunaidi in the New Order era. This research is a library research and uses qualitative data analysis, with historical and political approaches. The research data sources of this research consist of two types. First: primary data sources are basic data as the main study sourced from books written by Mahbub Djunaidi himself: From Day to Day, Campus High-Level Politics, Column by Column, Journalistic Humor, Mahbub Djunaidi Origins. The twosecondary data are supporting data obtained from various other literatures that are relevant to the topic being studied. Among other things, the sources come from writings in the form of books, journals, and articles written by other people about Mahbub Djunaidi's thoughts. Mahbub Djunaidi criticized the New Order as a democracy that could be killed in democratic institutions, by democratic means. Mahbub Djunaidi criticized his writing in a humorous, humorous and full of satire style.
