NILAI-NILAI PANCASILA DALAM KEHIDUPAN KAMPUS DAN MASYARAKAT

Abstrak

Indonesia, as a country with a high level of diversity, requires a philosophical foundation capable of uniting and guiding national and state life. Pancasila serves as both the foundation of the state and the nation's way of life, derived from cultural, traditional, and religious values deeply rooted in Indonesian society. This study aims to analyze the position and role of Pancasila as the foundation of the state (philosofische grondslag) and as a way of life in shaping the legal system, morality, and national character, particularly within the context of campus life and society in the modern era. The research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive research design through a literature study. The findings indicate that Pancasila plays a strategic role as the source of all legal sources, a guideline for attitudes and behavior, and a unifying force for the nation amidst its diversity. However, the implementation of Pancasila values currently faces various challenges, including the influence of globalization, individualism, radicalism, and moral crises among the younger generation. These conditions have the potential to diminish the appreciation and internalization of Pancasila, reducing it to merely a formal symbol.
