Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
- The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
- If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
Author Guidelines
Editors invite researchers, practitioners, and students to write scientific developments in fields related to management and business innovations. This advice is for authors intending to submit a manuscript to JOMBI. Before submitting an article to JOMBI, please ensure you have read and understood the Focus & Scope of the journal and that you have attended to the formatting of your manuscript as detailed below. Submissions that do not comply will not be considered.
Please note that this journal only publishes manuscripts in English. While we prefer the use of U.S. spelling, we also accept other versions of English as long as they are used consistently throughout the paper. If you have questions on English grammar or punctuation, search the web for guidance. You can find excellent guides at http://www.grammarbook.com
Authors are responsible for the language quality in their article, and is strongly recommended to have your manuscript checked by a native speaker or an English language specialist before submission, in order to ensure that the language is acceptable. The submitted manuscript in this journal is screened for plagiarism. All paper should be prepared according to the following author guidelines in the article template. The length of submitted paper is at least 5 pages and no more than 15 pages.
When the Editorial Board decides that the paper meets those standards, the paper will be assigned to referees and the author will be notified that the paper has entered the review process.
Guideline for Online Submission
Author should first register as Author through the following address: http://jurnal.uinsu.ac.id/index.php/jombi/user/register
Author should fulfil the form as detail as possible where the star marked form must be entered. After all form textbox was filled, Author clicks on “Register” button to proceed the registration. Therefore, Author is brought to online author submission interface where Author should click on “New Submission”. In the Start a New Submission section, click on “’Click Here’: to go to step one of the five-step submission process”. The following are five steps in online submission process:
- Step 1 - Starting the Submission: Select the appropriate section of journal, i.e. Original Research Articles, Review Article, or Short Communication. Thus, author must check-mark on the submission checklists.
- Step 2 – Uploading the Submission: To upload a manuscript to this journal, click Browse on the Upload submission file item and choose the manuscript document file to be submitted, then click Upload button.
- Step 3 – Entering Submission’s Metadata: In this step, detail authors metadata should be entered including marked corresponding author. After that, manuscript title and abstract must be uploaded by copying the text and paste in the textbox including keywords.
- Step 4 – Uploading Supplementary Files: Supplementary file should be uploaded including Covering/Submission Letter, and Signed Copyright Transfer Agreement Form. Therefore, click on Browse button, choose the files, and then click on Upload button.
- Step 5 – Confirming the Submission: Author should final check the uploaded manuscript documents in this step. To submit the manuscript to Jombi, click Finish Submission button after the documents is true. The corresponding author or the principal contact will receive an acknowledgement by email and will be able to view the submission’s progress through the editorial process by logging in to the journal web address site.
After this submission, Authors who submit the manuscript will get a confirmation email about the submission. Therefore, Authors are able to track their submission status at anytime by logging in to the online submission interface. The submission tracking includes status of manuscript review and editorial process.
This journal uses Open Journal Systems, which is open source journal management and publishing software developed, supported, and freely distributed by the Public Knowledge Project.
Copyright Notice
Authors who submit papers to Journal of Management and Business Innovations (JOMBI) under a CC-BY license do so under the Open Access facility and pay to have their paper freely available online. Authors will be asked to sign an Open Access license agreement prior to publication.
Articles published under this arrangement are made freely available online upon publication without subscription barriers to access. Users of such published articles are entitled to use, reproduce, disseminate, or display these articles provided that:
The original authorship is properly and fully attributed;
The journal and publisher are attributed as the original place of publication with correct citation details given;
If an original work is subsequently reproduced or disseminated not in its entirety but only in part or as a derivative work this is clearly indicated.
Authors are also entitled to deposit the final electronic version of the article into an institutional or centrally organized subject repository upon publication. This is provided that they include a link to the published version of the article on the journal's web site, and that the journal and JOMBI are attributed as the original place of publication, with correct citations given.
This broad license has been developed to facilitate open access to, and free use of, original works of all types for personal, research and educational use.
In the future JOMBI may choose to produce printed copies of articles in bound form. This means that articles will reach a wider audience than users of the web-based journals we produce, and that articles will be available in durable form. Without prejudice to the terms of the license (see Author Information section of this website) we reserve the right to reproduce author's articles in this way.
